The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity segment and debt segment both, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5450.77 crore against gross selling of Rs 4574.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 875.78 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1211.71 crore with gross sales of Rs 1089.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 122.36 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2778.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 17.67 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2761.06 crore in hybrid segment.
Both FII’s and DII’s were Net sellers today in cash market. While DII sold to the tune of 425.98 Crores, FII net sold cash instruments by 60.18 Crores.
