The FIIs are Selling in all Global Market from October 2021 and also in Indian Market. As a result, we have witnessed a broad-based selling in the US market as the US market falls more than 30% from its pick. If we go by the same logic FII DII Indian Stock Market
1. In 2008, when FII Sold FY 08-09 73,229.96 Cr, we witnessed more than 50% overall market correction.
2. If compared with US Indian market also need to correct at least 20-30 % from its peak.
But what happened?
1. FII keeps selling, and at one point, they feel overselling done all the selling absorbed by DII and retailers.
2. Market fell only 12% from the pick despite FII having sold 427302 cr in the Indian Market in FY 21-22 and up to June 2022.
So we can say FIIs are slowly losing their dominance in the Indian Market due to DII and a large no of retailers’ participation in the Indian Market.
So what options are left for the FII?
1. In any way, they cannot sell a significant amount now, as they tried their best by overselling the last few months
2. DIIs are already in cautious buy positions.
3. Retailers also buy, which is also a significant contribution nowadays.
What is next for the Market?
In the coming few months, FIIs have no options to buy as they will not want to lose to participate in the market rally.DII and retailers already buy positions. We can say Blind buying may happen.
